The 6N137 is a high-speed optocoupler designed for isolating digital signals. It features a high-speed LED and a photodetector integrated circuit, providing a data rate of up to 10 MBd. This optocoupler is commonly used in applications requiring electrical isolation between different parts of a system, such as microprocessor interfaces, digital fieldbus isolation, and high-speed data transmission.
