Next Dimension Electronics is an electronics and 3D printing supplier in Strand, Western Cape. We opened the shop in 2016, went online in 2019, and we are still here — behind a real counter, with the parts actually on the shelf.
What we are for
You usually arrive here because you need one specific thing. A 10k resistor, a 5x20mm fuse in the right rating, a nozzle that fits your printer, a buck converter that will survive what you are about to do to it. Our job is to have it, to know what it does, and to get it to you quickly.
So the quickest way to use this site is to search for the part — by its name, or by the stock code if you have it. If you cannot find it, phone us on 084 880 1881. We would far rather tell you we have it, or that we can get it, than have you guess.
Where we have got to
| 2016 | The shop opens in Strand |
| 2019 | We start selling online |
| 2024 | A rebuilt web shop |
| 2026 | Rebuilt again, on new foundations — the site you are reading |
Along the way we have served more than 2,300 customers, and we handle in the region of 3,000 orders a year. We keep over 2,300 different products on the shelf.
Not only parts
There is an engineer behind the counter, which means we can do rather more than sell you components:
- Electronic product design — from an idea to a working board
- Microcontroller firmware development
- 2D and 3D CAD services
- 3D printing, and the servicing and repair of 3D printers
- Laser cutting and engraving
If you have a problem rather than a shopping list, phone us and describe it. Some of our best work has started that way.
Schools
We supply schools with electronics project kits for term work, complete with printable handouts written for mixed-ability classes. They have been used by Grade 9 groups where every learner finished a working circuit. If you teach technology and need something that reliably works, talk to us.
How we like to work
Plainly. Our prices are the full amount you pay — NDE3D Technology (Pty) Ltd is not registered for VAT, so nothing is added at the end. We say when something is out of stock rather than taking your money and hoping. If a part cannot go on a courier, we tell you before you order rather than after. And if we get something wrong, phone us and we will put it right.
