Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed through nde3d.co.za. Please read them
before you buy. By placing an order you agree to them.

you pay.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include no VAT.
  • Prices and stock levels can change without notice. If a price is obviously
wrong, we will contact you before processing the order rather than simply
    charging you.
  • Payment is taken through Payfast. We never see or store your card details.
  • Your order is only confirmed once payment clears.

Stock

We hold physical stock, but quantities shown on the site can occasionally be out
of step with the shelf. If something you ordered is unavailable we will contact you
and either supply an agreed alternative, hold the order, or refund that item in full.

Delivery and collection

See our delivery details at checkout. You may also collect from the shop in Strand
during trading hours. Delivery times given are estimates, not guarantees, and we are
not responsible for delays caused by the courier once a parcel has left us.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

Your right to cancel

Because you are buying electronically, section 44 of the Electronic Communications
and Transactions Act gives you seven calendar days from receiving the
goods to cancel without giving a reason. You return the goods at your own cost, unused
and in their original packaging, and we refund what you paid for them.

This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, which are not
limited by anything in these terms.

Faulty goods

Electronic components can fail. If something is faulty, see our
Returns and Refunds page, which sets out what we do and the
time limits that apply.

Using components correctly

We sell components, modules and kits to people who intend to build things with them.
Specifications and example circuits are provided in good faith and are not a guarantee
of fitness for your particular project. You are responsible for working safely,
especially with mains voltages, batteries and heat. We cannot accept liability for
damage caused by incorrect wiring, over-voltage, reverse polarity or static.

Limits on our liability

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for the goods concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or the cost
of other components damaged in a circuit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be
limited in law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

South African law applies, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the
one that applies to it.
