The 4N35 is a general-purpose optocoupler IC from onsemi, designed to provide electrical isolation between input and output circuits using light. This single-channel device consists of a gallium arsenide infrared LED and a silicon NPN phototransistor, housed in a standard 6-pin dual-in-line package (DIP).

- Isolation Voltage: 5000 VRMS for 1 minute
- Current Transfer Ratio (CTR): Minimum 100% at IF = 10 mA, VCE = 10 V
- Input-Output Coupling Capacitance: Less than 0.5 pF
- Operating Temperature Range: -55°C to +110°C
- Package: 6-pin DIP with wide lead spacing options
